Kongsberg lifts top line in first half-year as earnings shrink

Two acquisitions boosted Norwegian supplier Kongsberg's revenue, order intake and staff size in the second quarter of 2019. Meanwhile, the group's profits dwindled.

Two big purchases played a central role in Norwegian supplier Kongsberg having had a busier second quarter of 2019 compared to the same period last year.

The company's interim report shows order intake growth, surging from NOK 5.299 billion (USD 590 million) to NOK 9.617 billion.
