China clears merger of state-owned shipbuilders

China's two largest shipbuilding companies, China Shipbuilding Industry Corp. (CSIC) and China State Shipbuilding Corp. Ltd. (CSSC), have had their merger approved, report several media citing a decision by the country's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).
