South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries is trying to reassure Singapore's competition authorities about the shipbuilder's planned merger with competitor Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME), a spokesperson from Hyundai Heavy Industries tells Reuters.
