Trafigura's CO2 emissions surged last year

Commodity trader Trafigura emitted 26 percent more in 2019 than the preceding year. The maritime business is the largest polluter, the company's sustainability report shows.

Trafigura emitted a total of 7.99 million tons of CO2 in 2019, corresponding to a 26-percent increase relative to the year prior, when the volume came to 6.38 million tons, according to the commodity trading company's 2019 responsibility report.
