Keppel sends home 100 employees after two corona cases at yard

Two employees at Keppel's shipyard in Singapore have tested positive for coronavirus. The shipbuilder now suspends 100 staff for 14 days to limit contagion risk.

Keppel has sent 100 personnel home on furlough after two employees tested positive for coronavirus at one of the group's shipyards in Singapore, writes Singaporean media Strait Times.

The two infected are employed at Keppel's yard in the port area Tuas. According to Strait Times, a total of three Keppel employees have now tested positive for corona.
