Kleven yard gets a new owner and changes name

A Norwegian yard company has, after negotiations with liquidator and banks, taken over Kleven Verft. The plan is to continue shipbuilding operations, and the yard's former CEO, who stepped down two weeks ago, is back.

Norwegian Green Yard Group is the new owner of Kleven Verft, which filed for bankruptcy ten days ago.

Since then, the bankrupt estate and its banks have been working on a solution, and they have now reached agreement with Green Yard Group, which will take over operation of Kleven Verft.
