Singapore withdraws offer of billion dollar investment in Keppel

Singapore's investment company Temasek has surprisingly withdrawn a possible SGD 4 billion investment in the strained Keppel shipyard, which, in the second quarter, breached a key condition of an agreement.

Singapore-based shipbuilder Keppel Fels will have to say goodbye to an investment of SGD 4 billion (USD 2.91 billion) which the island nation's investment company Temasek had indicated was in store.
