Alfa Laval's order book shrinks

Maritime supplier Alfa Laval received fewer orders in the latest quarter compared to the same period last year. But things have improved since earlier this year, writes the company.

The coronavirus crisis and the oil price drop still impact the business of Swedish maritime equipment supplier Alfa Laval.

In the latest quarter, the company received orders totaling SEK 3.1 billion (USD 335 million), bringing its combined order book to SEK 10.2 billion for the marine division. This is slightly fewer orders than in the same quarter last year, when Alfa Laval booked orders for SEK 4 billion.
