Owner of Minerva Bunkering buys majority of supplier in large deal

Mercuria, which among other things owns Minerva Bunkering, bolsters the company's position in the energy transition with acquisition of US supplier of alternative fuels.

Swiss-based commodity trader Mercuria strengthens its role in the energy transition with an acquisition of company Beyond6, which suppliers alternative fuels, in a transaction worth USD 169 million, says the company in a press release.

With the acquisition, Mercuria takes over 61 percent of Beyond6, which has till now been owned by US-based HC2 Holdings.
