Supplier to provide LNG pumps for 22 container vessels

As part of a new contract, Svanehøj is to supply gas pumps to 22 LNG-powered container vessels, set to be built at shipyards Samsung Heavy and DSM.

Equipment supplier Svanehøj will supply gas pumps to 22 large container vessels that will be powered by liquefied natural gas, LNG.

Two major South Korean shipyards, Samsung Heavy Industries and Daewood Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, have engaged the company to supply pumps for container vessels that range in the capacity 15,000 to 23,500 teu, informs Svanehøj in a press release.
