Convicted parties in Dan-Bunkering case say sentence is lesser than prosecutor demanded

In the first statement since Tuesday's verdict in the Dan-Bunkering case, the convicted parties note "that the fine levied against Dan-Bunkering was a tenth of what the prosecutor had called for," a press release reads. They are still considering an appeal.

The guilty parties in the Dan-Bunkering case are firing back at the State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime, known as SØIK, which succeeded in convincing the jury that Bunker Holding, Dan-Bunkering and the chief executive officer of the latter were guilty of breaching EU sanctions in connection with the sale of large quantities of jet fuel to Russian military in Syria.
