Wärtsilä expects ammonia engine sales to speed up after 2023

Finnish supplier Wärtsilä seeks to have its first ammonia engine ready next year, and the company expects sales to accelerate thereafter, it tells ShippingWatch. Although no concrete sale agreements have been secured, demand and the fuel’s current development both render division president optimistic.
