Bunker Holding stagnates while competitors grow

Bunker Holding is still the world’s leading bunker supplier, but development in volumes stagnated in 2021, according to top ten list. At the same time, competitors have advanced, however, Bunker Holding CEO Keld R. Demant is pleased nonetheless, he tells ShippingWatch.

Bunker Holding continues to be the world’s leading bunker supplier of ship fuels, but the bunker group’s sold-off volumes came to a complete standstill last year, while several competitors saw two-digit growth rates, according to an annual Top 10 report by analyst firm Seacred and Ship & Bunker.
