South Korean yard opens development center in Germany

With an R&D center in Düsseldorf, Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co. means to set up collaborative efforts in Europe on developing new technology for ships, including propulsion systems.

South Korean yard Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co. (KSOE) has established a European center for research and development in Düsseldorf, Germany, reports South Korean media Yonhap.
