
Singapore-based shipbuilder Sembcorp Marine, tasked with building a wind installation ship for Maersk Supply Service, deems the order a ”landmark contract” in a status update on the yard’s activities in the first quarter.
The wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV), ordered by Maersk Supply Service in March, will help develop the carrier’s activities, and Sembcorp has now begun designing the vessel, for which the yard does not name a price in its statement.
