Hempel expects to be out of Russia this year

Hempel is currently selling a Russian factory with 124 employees, which could be final by year’s end. The coating producer decided to withdraw from Russia in April following the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

Hempel, which specializes in ship coating, is actively selling a factory with 124 employees in Russia, and a sale of the company’s Russian activities could become final this year, says Michael Hansen, who will become CEO on October 15, to ShippingWatch.
