Evergreen is currently in talks with Samsung Heavy Industries about how to avoid delays for the carrier’s massive order for new ships.
South Korea’s shipbuilders are struggling with a lack of labor force to such an extent that it might threaten the delivery of the many container ships which are otherwise filling up their order books for the next several years.
