Boskalis to remove oil from old supertanker off Yemen's coast

Dutch Boskalis, which took part in freeing the grounded box ship Ever Given in the Suez Canal, has been assigned by the UN to remove oil from a tanker vessel to avoid environmental damages.

Through subsidiary Smit Salvage, Boskalis will partake in a UN operation aimed at removing more than 1 million barrels of oil from a tanker off of Yemen’s coast in the Red Sea, the company informs in a statement.
