Green transition enables comeback for European shipping banks

Chinese leasing houses are virtually out of the picture when European shipping companies are looking for green ship financing.

The 2008 financial crisis opened the floodgates for cheap Chinese ship financing as many European banks pulled out of shipping, but the green transition is now opening the door for a European comeback.
