Volkswagen sued after shipwreck caused by electric Porsche

Car carrier sank after fire which the plaintiffs claim was caused by a battery in an electrically powered Porsche. The automaker is negotiating a settlement.

Volkswagen AG has been sued by Mitsui OSK Lines, Allianz SE and the operator of car carrier Felicity Aces in a pair of lawsuits in Germany following a high-profile shipwreck two years ago, reports Bloomberg.
