New owner wants to preserve traditional virtues of Danish Ship Finance

The shipping bank’s conservative strategy and close ties to Denmark must be maintained, says the new owner’s investment director.

For the first time in the more than 70-year history of Danish Ship Finance (Danmarks Skibskredit), the shipping bank has passed into foreign hands with the sale to the Abu Dhabi-based investment company Magellan Capital Holdings Ltd.
