DFDS' interim report and the carrier's announcement that it plans to invest USD 53.5 million and maybe even as much as USD 125 million in scrubbers for eight of the carrier's ships are a cause for celebration at scrubber supplier Alfa Laval.

"It's great news that DFDS has decided to invest further in scrubbers, and that Alfa Laval's PureSOx has been chosen for these eight ships," says Peter Leifland, president of Alfa Laval's Marine & Diesel division.
