Maritime entrepreneur bets big on navigation equipment

Maritime entrepreneur Lars Thrane has established his new company, Lars Thrane A/S, which focuses entirely on making navigation equipment for the shipping industry.

Lars Thrane is back in business and has now founded a new company called Lars Thrane A/S after he sold his life’s work, communication equipment manufacturer Thrane & Thrane, to Britain’s Cobham Satcom. As he revealed to ShippingWatch back in March, he would introduce his latest gamble during 2014 and now he has laid the foundation for it, he tells Berlingske Business.
