Kongsberg wins million-dollar Norwegian Sea contract

A company under Norwegian maritime supplier Kongsberg has won a contract worth USD 277.8 million from German Wintershall on the Norwegian shelf.

German oil company Wintershall has awarded a massive contract to Norwegian FMC Technologies, part of major maritime supplier Kongsberg, says the company in a statement. The contract is worth USD 277.8 million (NOK 1.8 billion) and involves FMC Technologies helping to develop Wintershall's Maria field in the Norwegian Sea.
