
International trading house Mercuria, which operates significant trading activities from its Geneva headquarters, has hired close to 40 former employees from crashed OW Bunker, according to Reuters. OW Bunker employed around 600 people ahead of the bankruptcy.
Mercuria has launched a new bunker business in northern Asia, where the company has recruited 17 former OW Bunker employees. The Asian business will be headed by Joon Kim, former branch manager of OW Bunker in South Korea.
