Maersk Oil to lay off 200 employees

Maersk Oil is currently undertaking a so-called Cost Transformation program which is meant to reduce costs by 20 percent over the next two years. This will cost 200 employees their jobs.

As with numerous other global oil companies, the budget cuts are now affecting employees at Maersk Oil as well.

Over the next two years, Maersk Oil will reduce costs by 20 percent with a so-called Cost Transformation program and this entails laying off 200 employees, according to Maersk Oil.
