Financial regulator: Daewoo's money woes defy categorization

South Korea's Financial Service Commission has omitted yard group Daewoo, one of South Korea's three largest shipowners, from a list of the country's big companies which need restructuring support. The company's financial problems defy categorization, reasons the commission.

South Korea's financial regulator FSC, Financial Services Commission, has decided to omit the ailing shipyard group Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) from a list of 32 companies facing restructuring due to serious financial problems.
