Convoy sailing, floating energy distribution stations along shipping routes, knowledge sharing and long-lasting batteries.

These are just a few of the scenarios that Wärtsilä outlines in the publication Visions of Future Shipping, in which the Finnish supplier ventures ideas for new initiatives based on current developments and expected needs in the shipping industry. These initiatives could help boost efficiency in the sector going forward.
