Daewoo gets big order from Greek carrier

South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering wraps up a financially challenging 2016 by adding an impressive order to the books from Greek-based Maran Tankers Management.

Financially ailing Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering announced Sunday that it has signed a deal with Greek carrier Maran Tankers Management for orders estimated to amount to a total KRW 700 billion (USD 589 million), writes Korean news outlet Yonhap News.
