France's Macron to review sale of shipyard

French president Emmanuel Macron wants to ensure that Fincantieri, the new co-owner of major French shipyard STX France, will not cut jobs and weaken the yard.

France's newly elected president Emmanuel Macron will review the sale of shipbuilder STX France to the Italian yard group Fincatieri, said Macron on Wednesday according Reuters when he participated in the launch of a new cruise vessel from the French shipyard.
