MAN promises 12 percent fuel savings with new engine

A new engine from MAN Diesel & Turbo will, according to the company, save shipowners as much as 12 percent fuel compared to other engines. The new engine is targeted RoPax, RoRo, and cruise ships.

MAN Diesel & Turbo promises at least 5 percent and up to 12 percent fuel savings with its new marine engine, which thus means that shipowners can save on the costs by installing the engine, dubbed V45/60 CR.
