Another record year for offshore wind in 2017

The European offshore wind market saw another record year in 2017 with installed capacity increasing by 25 percent.

The number of wind turbines in Europe is rising and rising.

Last year, total installed capacity in the sector was 15.8 percent GW, a 3.1 GW increase corresponding to 25 percent additional capacity, shows a recently published report from interest organization WindEurope.
