Solstad Farstad bags several oil contracts and eyes market improvements

Offshore shipping company Solstad Farstad has won contracts with several oil majors, including Aker BP and a former Maersk Oil company, now part of Total. The contracts indicate an improving market, says the company.

Norwegian offshore shipping company Solstad Farstad has secured contracts for several of its vessels, which will predominantly work in the North Sea.

The company has won a total of nine contracts, distributed across energy companies Total, Aker BP, BP Egypt and an unknown company, informs Solstad Farstad in two press releases.
