ConocoPhillips approaches new buyer to dispose of North Sea fields

US oil group ConocoPhillips has difficulty getting rid of its oil fields in the North Sea. A British company could be the new buyer.

The UK's wealthiest person, Jim Ratcliffe, was supposed to buy ConocoPhilips' North Sea oil fields. That deal failed last week, however, and now ConocoPhillips is attempting to find another British buyer, report several UK-based media.
