Svitzer CEO appointed new chairman of Maersk Supply Service

Maersk Supply Service gets new chairman later this year as part of Claus Hemmingsen's coming departure from Maersk. His replacement will be Svitzer CEO Henriette Thygesen.

Svitzer CEO Henriette Thygesen will take over as chairman of Maersk Supply Service, says Maersk in a statement Wednesday.

Thygesen begins on June 1, 2019, when she takes over for Claus V. Hemmingsen, who resigns from A.P. Møller-Mærsk by the end of june after 38 years at the company.
