Equinor makes oil discoveries in the Norwegian Sea

Equinor has found oil and gas in the same well in the Norwegian Sea, informs the partly state-owned company Monday. The discovery includes oil equivalent of up to 60 million barrels.

Equinor, formerly Statoil, discovers more oil in the Norwegian Sea.

Monday, Equinor announced it has found both oil and gas at the Snadd Outer Outer/Black Vulture well roughly 14 kilometers south-west of the Norne field in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea. The Norwegian oil company operates the field together with Ineos E&P and Faroe Petroleum.
