Aker Solutions bags major electrification order on oil field

The Norwegian oil service firm is awarded a contract for delivery of two electrical high-voltage boilers as part of Lundin Energy's electrification of Edvard Grieg.

Electrifying an oil field requires a multitude of components.

This is also the case at Lundin-operated platform Edvard Grieg, which is due to be restructured so that its daily operations can be rid of gas turbines.
