Large-scale merger in the Norwegian oil sector secures crucial approvals

The two Aker companies Aker Solutions and Kvaerner have received all necessary approvals from regulators to merge. The merger is expected finalized on Tuesday.

The Aker Group's two oil service companies Kvaerner and Aker Solutions have now received approval for a merger from all relevant authorities.

The merger is now expected to be completed and finalized tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 10, write both companies Monday in an update with "tentative key dates" for the next steps.
