Cadeler raises capital for fleet expansion

Wind carrier Cadeler has raised close to USD 100 million in a private placement, which will be spent on ordering new ships. This happens only half a year after the company raised a significant sum from its IPO.

Wind carrier Cadeler plans a bigger expansion of its fleet than first announced, to be financed by raising new funds for the shipping company.

This happens through a ship order that will double the carrier's wind turbine installation capacity. The order is financed by way of a private placement, in which Cadeler issued 23 million new shares in the company, securing NOK 794 million (USD 97 million).
