Borr Drilling expects to deploy more rigs in 2021

The second-quarter bottom line showed red figures at Borr Drilling, which reports having secured new orders in excess of USD 500 million during 2021. More rigs are expected to be put into service by the end of the year.

Borr Drilling, founded by Tor Olav Trøim, among others, expects to send more of its rigs into operation in the course of 2021, according to the company's second-quarter financial statement.

The company further reports to have secured 28 new contracts to date in 2021, adding about USD 542 million to the orderbook.
