Equinor CFO: Oil and gas "cash-engine" drives renewables portfolio

Equinor's renewables portfolio will be funded by their oil and gas portfolio, says CFO Ulrica Fearn during this year's Pareto Securities annual Energy Conference.

The oil and gas portfolio at Equinor is still going strong and will be essential in the work to build up the renewables portfolio, says CFO Ulrica Fearn at Pareto Securities' 28 Annual Energy Conference today.

Equinor's portfolio in oil and gas is still substantial and during the conference, Ulrica Fearn said she expects the high gas prices to remain high until the end of the year. She also said that the portfolio will play another role going forward, namely to fund investments in the renewables segment.
