Cadeler books first profit in five years – expects doubling in 2022

Listed wind carrier Cadeler doubled its revenue last year and once again landed in the black. Cadeler is confident in doubling its operating result this year, heralding investments in two X-class vessels for EUR 548m.

Cadeler is demonstrating strong growth in offshore wind with a profitable 2021 financial statement, and the listed wind service operator expects its growth to continue this year, according to the annual report, published this morning.

The listed wind carrier’s revenue more than doubled to EUR 61m, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) has turned from red figures in 2020 to a plus of EUR 28m. The year before, EBITDA came to minus EUR 10m.
