North Star orders two new specialized vessels for offshore wind

Norwegian shipbuilder and designer VARD is to deliver two specialized vessels for British company North Star to service offshore wind.

UK’s leading infrastructure support vessel operator, North Star, which operates in the North Sea, has ordered two specialized vessels for maintenance of offshore wind farms. These commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs) are to be built at Norwegian shipyard VARD.
