Media: Rig operator sues Statoil

Diamond Offshore has filed a lawsuit against Statoil for closing a contract ahead of time. This could cost the company millions of dollars, according to Offshore.no.

A legal case between rig company Diamond Offshore and Statoil could be underway as the rig operator has decided to file a lawsuit against the Norwegian oil company, reports Offshore.no.
