Maersk Drilling extends multi-million dollar contract

Maersk Drilling has extended a contract in Angola by two years. The contract is worth USD 387 million.

A.P. Moeller-Maersks drilling rig division Maersk Drilling has secured a two-year extension of its current contract for the rig Maersk Deliverer with Chevron in Angola, according to a statement issued Thursday.

"We are very pleased to be able to extend our relationship with Chevron on this project, and look forward to a continued successful drilling operation," Maersk Drilling CEO Claus V. Hemmingsen in the statement.

The contract is worth USD 387 million.
