Media: Lauritzen venture postpones hotel vessel

Axis Offshore, a joint venture between J. Lauritzen and Norwegian HitecVision, has postponed the delivery of an offshore accommodation vessel to July next year. The order could even be canceled, notes shipyard.

J. Lauritzen's joint venture with Norwegian private equity fund HitecVision to build hotel vessels for the offshore industry, Axis Offshore, has postponed the delivery of a hotel ship till July 15th 2016.

The order, which specifically concerns a semi-submersible accommodation vessel, could even be canceled, reports Tradewinds on Friday.
