Seadrill pushes delivery of new rigs and vessels

Seadrill has postponed the delivery date for no less than two drilling vessels and eight jack-up rigs, though the company still delivered a solid half-year result.

The company achieved an operating profit (EBITDA) of USD 651 million in the first half of the year, a small improvement from USD 641 million in the first half of 2014, while Seadrill's revenue declined to USD 1.14 billion in the second quarter from USD USD 1.22 billion in the first quarter 2015, according to the carrier's interim report.
