BHP Billiton calls for removal of US export ban

Australian commodity giant BHP Billiton is now urging the US to lift the ban on the export of crude oil. A lifting of the ban would send a strong signal that the US wants global growth, says CEO Andrew Mackenzie.

The CEO of Australian commodity giant BHP Billiton, Andrew Mackenzie, called on the US to repeal the ban on the export of crude oil in a September 16 speech at the Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.
