
With an investment of around USD 236 million, Norwegian energy giant Statoil has made a historical investment decision aimed at building the world's first floating wind farm.
According to a statement from Statoil, the wind farm will be located in the North Sea, in Hywind, off the coast of Petershead in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, to be exact.
