Songa Offshore axes 200 workers

Songa Offshore find itself forced to slash employees in order to stay alive in the troubling offshore market. Management informs in a press release that company is working to become an optimized operating unit rather than a more project-focused organization.

Songa Offshore will lay off a total 200 employees in Aberdeen and South Korea in an effort to increase focus on its activities in Norway, informs the company in a press release.
